Concert
The Okotoks Men's Chorus is hosting a concert 26th May, 7:00pm at the Okotoks, United Church. Tickets are $15 ($12 seniors). A family rate is also available. Tickets can be purchased in advance (concert sold out in 2011) at Okotoks Flowers and Things (cash or cheque only) or by contacting Richard Ellum (see contact information below). Guest performers include the Alberta Dance Academy and other local entertainers.
Who We Are
The Okotoks Men's Chorus is now in its seventh year. The group was brought together through the inspiration and efforts of Philip Pack (2005-2007). Philip guided us for the first two years and then Tim Korthuis took over as director (2007-). We are proud to maintain the talented services of Heather Haaland as our accompanist since the beginning (2005-). Our energies are focused on becoming an entertainment presence within the Okotoks community. We welcome additional regular members.
Our activities to date have included singing at local Remembrance Day services, participating in the Big Rock Singers Christmas and Spring concerts, entertaining at local seniors' residences, and hosting our own annual Spring concert at the end of May.
